PROJECT 5: SENSE OF PLACE: NEIGHBOURHOOD & COMMUNITY

A site-visiting.
Never expect that we will be doing this on the second month of our HBP life.

With last project clashing with this, so this one was done very fast, sleepless nights, studio life.
Every one was working hard in the studio, regardless of how many hours of sleep you can get.

We've been given 6 site to choose as our subject.
The site I chose was the SIARA 81 located at SG. ARA, and that's just beside another site, which is SETIA GREEN.

After some inspection and walking around the area, we found out a few improvements that can be made: cyclist pathway, public phone, recycle bin, and a few others facilities can be added to improve the area.

And after many hours of working in the studio and my room, I've finally produce two piece of drawings, which is when I finish this 2 projects.

PROJECT 5A: NEIGHBOURHOOD ELEMENTS: EXISTING CONDITION

PROJECT 5B: NEIGHBOURHOOD ELEMENTS: PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT

PROJECT 4: PRESENTATION DRAWINGS

Okay, projects keep coming non-stop!! Have to get use to this life soon or I'll be the one who will be suffered.

This time, the project that have been given to us was related to the last project.

And complexity of project 3 (b) means difficulty for this project, as each of us need to produce presentation drawings of our L-shaped chair.

With help and advice of course mates, I've been able to finish my drawings, 2 pieces of them.

Below is the plans and elevations of my project 4.

Hereby I present my axonometric(isometric, left diagram) and perspective(one point perspective) drawings of my project.

PROJECT 3(B): OBJECTS CONNECTION: A ComforTABLE CHAIR

For this time, we've been divided into groups of 3 or 4. And my group consist of 4 members including me.

We've been assigned to produce a CHAIR, a L-Shaped chair that is connected with a table.

No doubt the projects assigned to us has a theme, and the theme that've been given by our lecturers is UNITY. A furniture that would represent UNITY, quite a challenge for a non-design student who doesn't have basic on arts.

But still, with our efforts, the project was done and this is the product.

The main part of this product are focused on the table. For the theme Unity, it's like the fence-like structure on the table. All of those sticks represents different races and ethnics in our country, to maintain the structure as well as the furniture, every stick or every ethnics must stand together, that's means, UNITE.
