PROJECT 6: AN AMPHITHEATRE STAGE

By far, this is the toughest project we've done in RUS 104.

From the start till the end, this is the project that need the full commitment of everyone. Without a good cooperation by all, I'm doubting whether we can achieve the success for this project.

There are 3 parts to be done in this PROJECT 6, 1st, the presentation drawings, 2nd, the report: weekly and final report, and last, the CONSTRUCTION of the scale model of our stage.

Before anything was start, our group have been divided into several groups to make our aim and working scope more precise.

As mentioned above, we're divided into 3 teams: the DESIGN TEAM, REPORT & RESEARCH TEAM, COSTING TEAM.

Through the great coordination and leadership by our lady boss --- Mandy, we manage to finish each part of our job on time, well, most of it.

Now back to the design of the stage.
The original concept that we decided to choose was the TRISHAW which can represent PULAU PINANG. Due to certain reasons, this concept was turned down. And so, we have to rise up again with a brand new concept.
At last, the concept that was picked by our design team was the WAVE. The concept was meant to create an amphitheatre which can brings man and nature closer to each other.

From conducting a site analysis, researching, until the construction of scale model, everything was done with the best effort of our team, especially the design team who've taken up the most tiring part. Thanks to them, we've come up with a special and aesthetically beautiful yet elegant design.

This is it, the presentation drawings.

With all those sleepless nights, hereby I present this, the presentation drawings of our AMPHITHEATRE STAGE -- THE WAVE.

After having a look at our design, I'm sure you who are reading my blog can't wait to see more of it right? Yes, and now, have a look at our best effort, the scale model of THE WAVE!

This is the back.

And of course the front view.

Beautiful, isn't it?

This is what make us proud.
This is our team, group 6, THE BASTIDORES, which means WINGS in Spanish.
WE ARE MEANT TO -- AIM HIGH, FLY HIGH, AS SKY IS OUR LIMIT.
